Book description

But the guilt he feels over how he treated his family during that time makes him vow that the next woman he dates will be mom-approved. Rose may be beautiful inside and out, but her tarot cards, tattoos, and commitment phobia mean she’s distinctly mom-disapproved.

When a hurricane threatens, Jason convinces Rose to evacuate with him to Florida where their flirty friendship speeds into a relationship hotter than a day at the beach. But returning home as a couple has rough edges and uneven seams: Jason seems unwilling to tell his family he’s dating Rose, reinforcing her belief that all men leave. When the secret slips out and causes family drama, they’ll both have to break old patterns if they want to craft a blissful happily ever after.

My runes! I forgot to come back and give an update of how my hand painted runes came out. What do you think?

After I got started, I realized that paint and brush was probably not the best way to go about it, especially not with the brushes I was using. But I think they came out great anyway! The different colors represent the three different gods and goddesses they’re associated with, and I added dots so I knew which way of the rune was the bottom since I’m not familiar with the shapes yet. The pretty velvet bag is from Bohemian Cove. 😍

When I create and draw the runes for my upcoming fantasy romance, the Prince of the Outsiders, I bought metallic markers to use that I hope helps them come out a little neater, and I’ll of course go back to Bohemian Cove for another beautiful bag to keep them in.
