Rachael Herron’s Udemy Course: How to Stop Stalling and Write Your Book

When I first decided to be Serious about finishing my first book, it was hard, confusing, and pretty darn scary. I’d spent around 20 years convincing myself  that I couldn’t do the #1 thing I had always wanted to do with my life, and I needed a good bit of  hand-holding to get through it.

And that’s when I took a chance on Rachael Herron’s Udemy course, “How to Stop Stalling and Write Your Book.” I’m not exaggerating when I say that this $15 course (as of today 9/5/23) is a huge percentage of why I got to The End on my first book and dove straight into writing book #2 (my Chromebook and my therapist were the rest of the percentages, no lie). I watched her videos over and over, sometimes just listening to them to remind myself of what I needed to know.

Rachael’s course is the warmest kick-in-the-butt you’ll ever find that makes you start thinking of yourself as a writer and get your book finished.

Before I tell you a little about this course, I want to stress that I am in no way being compensated for recommending this course to you. No affiliate links, no kickbacks from Rachael lol, this is just me being so incredibly grateful to have found this resource when I needed it the most, and hoping it speaks to you too.

This resource might be for you if you are new to writing, are having trouble getting to The End, or just need some  inspiration that yes, you can do this.

I won’t share any content of her course, obviously, but I can say that in a series of videos, Rachael gives you:

  • Encouragement and warmth
  • Tough love (delivered so kindly)
  • SO MANY practical, do-this-now tips and tricks
  • Common-sense advice
  • Debunking of common writer/writing myths

I can’t recommend this course highly enough. I hope it helps you too, and I think it’s time I went for a rewatch.
